About

DNet stands for "domain network" and tries to suggest the final goal of the application, to be a collection of domain specific modules both for B2B / B2C.

Its mission is to deliver an enterprise ready infrastructure on which anybody can build own extensions/modules and provide a set of business features in two main groups:

  • Back-end with ERP, CRM, HRM
  • Front-end as a sales and employee portal featuring product catalog, shopping cart, employee self service

    DNet is a web based open source software licensed with Apache License Version 2.

    The distribution package comes with a pre-configured application ready to be launched.

    • Download the distribution package, extract the contents of the archive somewhere on your computer
    • Go to virgo-tomcat-server-xxx/bin and double-click startup.bat on Windows or startup.sh on Linux
    • Wait until the application is started
    • Go to your browser and type in the adress bar: http://localhost:8081/nan21.dnet.core.welcome
    • Sign-in with user 'admin' and password 'admin'
    • Follow on-screen instructions

    After setup is completed the application can be accessed with the following urls:

  • Back-end:http://localhost:8081/nan21.dnet.core.web
  • Front-end:http://localhost:8081/nan21.dnet.core.www (available starting from 1.0-M5)

    • Please note that DNet requires that you have already installed Java6+ on your computer.
